About Me:

Joette Vignery, LSCSW, CHt

My mission in life is to live in a way that is healthy and full. A life filled with an abundance of empathy, passion, and courage. I, myself, am a survivor of narcissistic/ psychopathic abuse and control. I have a heart of compassion for all, especially those that have struggled with past abuse or trauma, whether it be from childhood or adulthood. I have lived it and I understand it.

I graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences and received my Masters from Wichita State University in Social Work. I am a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) and have been working as a therapist in the mental health field for over thirteen years. I have worked with many different populations; LGBTQ and straight, young and old, dissociative identities, and the severely emotionally disturbed. I specialize in anxiety, depression, domestic violence, past trauma, and dissociation.

My practice is a comfortable, inviting, and safe space found in a home based setting. I use a trauma-informed/client-centered approach with a mix of validation, empowerment, empathy, intuition, and a little bit of humor 🙂 Nothing is more important to your success in therapy than the relationship between client and therapist. I love to learn and continually work to increase my knowledge through reading, videos, and conferences. I am passionate about what I do and love helping others find the strength and the tools to build a more successful life. I will sit with you, empathize with you, and help you heal.
